Some simple facts: Chronic pain affects one out of four adults; millions of people suffer from severe disabling pain. Once a patient addicted to pain killing drugs has completed detoxification, the treatment provider must then work with the patient to determine which course of treatment would be best for each patient. Now what if you had other networkers calling you and asking you if they can join you in your business? I bet you would love that! Wouldn't you? Well it can happen that way for you. Other networkers or business contacts are your real target market not lead list. Just buying lead list and cold calling is not an effective way to explode your Downline. Like I said cold calling does have it's place when it's done at the right time in your business. As students begin a new semester, this is the perfect time to establish some new routines to improve the process of doing homework.

The first question to ask yourself is, If there is one thing I could improve about homework, what would it be? The first answer that probably came to mind was, Get rid of it! Honestly, that would be my first response, too. However, homework is a fact-of-life and serves a very good purpose (whether we like it or not), so lets try that again

** If You Could Improve One Thing about Homework, What Would It Be? **

- Perhaps you feel that you (or your child) take too much time to do homework.

- Or, maybe homework causes a lot of arguments in your home and you would like to experience some peace.

- Is your teacher complaining that lost assignments are dragging down your grade?

- Do your parents often complain that you wait for the last minute to tell them about important things, such as the supplies you need for that science fair projecttomorrow?!

** Action Plan **

Now that you know the problem, create a solution!

Once you have recognized a specific problem, it is much easier to identify a solution. The best solutions are systems; procedures or routines that help you simplify the issue and develop positive habits to overcome it.

I could write a full chapter on each of the problems above, but here are some quick examples of solution systems for each one:

- If you fight to stay focused while doing homework, set an electronic timer for the amount of time you think an assignment should take and challenge yourself to beat the timer.

- If lost assignments are your issue, you may first need to reduce the number of folders that you (or your child) have to manage. Most students juggle 7-9 separate folders and 7-9 notebooks up to 18 different supplies! No wonder assignments get lost! Start by streamlining all folders into one, 1 binder. Then, Take Ten every time you sit down to do your homework; two minutes to put all loose papers into their correct folders and the next eight minutes to review any handouts or notes from the day.

- If you are a victim of Last Minute Syndrome, one strategy that will help you is the Weekly Family Meeting. This meeting is an informal gathering (usually on Sundays) where everyone shares their schedules for the upcoming week (including parents). Discuss sports schedules, upcoming tests/projects (and needed supplies), etc. Parents also share if they will be working late one night or have other after-school obligations that may impact the family. This system is a great cure for LMS because it encourages everyone to be proactive and plan ahead together. (BONUS: This strategy actually shows children *how* to plan ahead.)

These suggestions are merely examples, but they illustrate the concept of developing *systems* to help solve common homework problems.

Tip for Parents: Whenever possible, involve your children in the search for solutions. Children of all ages usually give honest and very insightful suggestions, especially when they feel like their input is taken seriously. The more input they can have in identifying reasonable solutions, the more willing they will be to participate.

Homework inherently causes problems. In fact, one of the most significant purposes of homework is to learn *how* to solve problems. In almost every situation, a recurring problem can be solved with a recurring solution, better known as a system. To create your solution system:

MLM leaders usually use systematised MLM training to create pyramid recruiters.

I know it's a bold statement that strikes at the heart of distributors and upsets them. But this is an important lesson you should learn, and I'm not trying to make friends by teaching it.

MLM network marketing companies such as USANA, Herbalife, and ACN are all legal businesses because they carry quality products/services. They make money by distributors selling more product. Notice though, the emphasis is on product, not recruiting.

Yet MLM is often marketed as a pyramid.

Why? Leaders find it easier to recruit new people than to try to teach someone with zero sales or marketing experience how to market right. They just keep looking for better people. It's that simple.

As a result, the newbie distributor is trained on the same emphasis. They try selling the product at first, but their leads don't buy because the distributor has to educate the prospect in order to justify the (usually) high price.

Because of their lack of experience, they don't know how to justify the price. They say things like, "It's not about the product, I don't care about the product, you can make a lot of money with this."

Recruiting people on the hype of money talks to the natural greed of humans--getting something great for nothing. This receives a lot more interest as well as scepticism.

In addition, there is a cash incentive for the MLM distributor. Recruiting new distributors earns bonus commissions from the high-priced starter kits. And let's not forget that there is the recurring "autoship" order which new distributors are now forced to purchase monthly to remain eligible to make that "$10,000/week".

Essentially, new MLM distributors who have never owned a business before are not use to doing work without pay for longer than 2 weeks. When they don't get the "now" cash they quit anyway. It's no way to build a long-term business.

On the other hand, if distributors were to begin by learning to market an inexpensive retail product that educates their prospect instead, they would see "now" cash in their first few days.

Remember that MLM is about selling products. You should be learning to get 5 new product customers for every one distributor you recruit.

You then train the one new distributor to get 5 new product customers and one new distributor.

In this way, you stop operating your MLM business like a pyramid and you run a business with integrity. Most children love to play with toys, regardless of time or place; however, toys tend to take on an altogether more important significance at Christmas time. And whether you're looking for Christmas toys for your children, young relatives, or to give to charity, you'll always find yourself surrounded by toys as the world enters the festive season.

Collecting toys for charity at Christmas time has been a long-running annual affair for countless charitable families, as well as many church groups. At Greyfriars Church Centre in Reading, for example, people have already begun sending toys and tins of food for its annual Christmas collection; these will be donated to needy children around the city. John Brown, caretaker of the church bookshop said:

"I think it is a brilliant idea and it is great to see the generosity of people in Reading bringing in toys and tins to make Christmas for the children."

If you have children of your own, Christmas can undoubtedly get rather hectic. A great way to encourage your kids to be more pro-active when it comes to Christmas preparation is by making them create their own Christmas cards and decorations. Buy some speciality Christmas arts and crafts supplies, such as blank cards, colour in cards, glitter-glue pens and Christmas stickers; patterned paper chains or DIY Christmas cracker sets will also provide children with some creative fun and will keep them busy while you start making the Christmas pudding!

When it comes to buying toys for your children at Christmas, it can be hard to take into account their constantly changing tastes. However, there are some classic toys that children, especially younger ones, will always delight in. Infant girls, for example, always take pleasure in large doll houses to house their collection of figurines. Girls also usually enjoy games or toy sets that revolve around fairies; toys like the Early Learning Centre's Fairy Wonderland Christmas toys, for instance, provide a miniature fairy kingdom with which little girls can fantasise.

After all, keeping your children happy and remembering those less fortunate than you are twin thoughts that equate to a fantastic Christmas and a true understanding of its spirit.
