Yeast Infection Diet

For those who suffer from chronic, painful yeast infections, someone has decided that diet has a lot to do with it. After carefully checking out a ton of different diets, there seems to be a bit of everything that you can and cannot eat. Many of the foods that have been removed from the average diet, tend to be foods that can fuel yeast, such as sugars and more yeast consumption, as well as many foods that can keep yeast from flushing from flushing itself out of your body.

So, once I give you the NO foods, I will also add the foods that CAN be consumed. First, NO fruit or fruit juices, since they contain sugars. Fresh vegetables, fresh vegetable juice, and lemonade or limeade can be consumed. NO breads or breaded meat all other meats are okay. NO egg substitutes just organic eggs, since substitutes can hold sugar (for frothiness). NO margarine or butter substitutes for the same reason as egg substitutes. Fresh butter, yogurt, cream cheese, and unsweetened whipping creams are okay. NO potatoes, legumes, or grains since they all contain high natural sugars as well as natural yeasts.

NO coffee, tea, diet or regular sodas. Coffee beans and tea leaves both have natural yeast enhancers, whereas diet and regular sodas have sugar or sugar substitute. Organic tea is okay to drink. NO partially hydrogenated oils, since they can grasp the yeast holding it hostage in the body. Cold=pressed oils such as olive, coconut, and flax seed can be consumed, since they do not do that.

NO peanuts, peanut butter, or pistachios they contain natural sugars and are yeast enhancers. Raw nuts, such as raw almonds, pecans, and walnuts do not, and can be consumed. NO vinegars except for apple cider vinegar which contains malic acid, a known yeast fighter. This is a HUGE category of NOs, which include ketchup, mustard, soy sauce, worchestshire sauce, barbeque sauce, hot sauce, pickles, mayonnaise, salad dressings, dips, etcetera. Last, avoid high mercury fish such as salmon, tuna, and some shellfish.

This may seem like a ton of NO items, but there are still plenty of foods to try. The entire basis of this is to try to get rid of unnatural foods, and keep the bodys natural pH levels balanced through a truly balanced diet. Fresh vegetables are always a good thing and many vegetables, such as carrots and beets, can make some wonderful juices. There are still a ton of meats available for consumption as well.

Not all dairy products are off-limits, so many breakfast lunch and dinner solutions are available on this plan. In fact, there have been enough women who have lived with chronic yeast infections that many cookbooks have been written to follow natural, organic foods. If you have grown tired of the constant need to combat the symptoms of a yeast infection, it may have all to do with what you are ingesting rather than what you are not.

Yeast infections can be treated, but need to be done proficiently. If the medicine just masks the symptoms only, then the infection will grow stronger, and become more problematic than originally thought.
